Intermountain Orthopaedics again sponsors the 22nd Annual White Knob Challenge in Mackay, Idaho. This is the longest-running mountain bike race in the Northwest and a designated NORBA Classic.
The White Knob Challenge Cross Country Race
This NORBA classic cross-country race returns Saturday August 5.
Racers take off from Main Street on a 9-mile ascent that features 2,300 feet in elevation gain, followed by a rip-roaring roller coaster descent to the valley floor.
Prizes and White Knob challenge medals for the top three will be awarded to finishers in the more than 30 race categories.
Cross Country racers get points towards the Knobby Tire Series Championship

Free camping is available in the Mackay Tourist park.
Race fee includes a free meal ticket for the race picnic on Saturday.
