Race Location:
Start/finish at Purple Sage and Can-Ada. Take State St. to Can-Ada (past Star) and go north to Purple Sage.
Race Route 2004 - note course change from last year
Head west on Purple Sage from Can-Ada. Jog left on Blessenger, then right again on Purple Sage, crossing Middleton Road, Cemetary Road and Emmett Road.
Right on Old Highway 30
Right on Hollow Road, crossing Farmway and El Paso.
Left on Emmett Road (course split for juniors, women cat 4, women masters, men masters 55+ who go right instead).
Left on South Slope Road.
Right on Bowman.
Veer left at the "Y" onto Bill Burns Road.
Right on Brogan Road.
Left on Dewey Road, which turns into El Paso. (feed zone on the climb)
Left on Hollow Road.
Course split at Emmett Road: left for more laps, right to finish. Cat 3 men and pro/1/2/3 women do one more lap, pro/1/2 men do 2 more laps.
To the finish: having turned right on Emmett Road, left on Purple Sage crossing Cemetary Road and Middleton Road, jog left on Blessenger then right again.
Left on Can-Ada Road, and finish at the top of Hillsdale loop hill.

Registration will open at 7am. Entry fee: $25 for all except $15 for juniors.

8:15am - Men category 4/5 - 50 miles (1 Emmett Valley loop)
8:20am - Women category 4, Women master, Men master 55+ - 32 miles (no Emmett Valley loop)
8:25am - All junior men and junior women - 32 miles (no Emmett Valley loop)
8:30am - Men master 35+ and 45+ - 50 miles (1 Emmett Valley loop)
10:15am - Women pro/1/2/3, Men category 3 - 68 miles (2 Emmett Valley loops)
10:30am - Men pro/1/2 - 86 miles (3 Emmett Valley loops)
Prizes: State Championship jerseys and medals. (Multiple category races scored separately)
Wheel cars will be provided as available.
